  • Responsibilities

    Responsible for contacting scheduled patients in accordance with registration and scheduling guidelines.   Verify information, exam preparations, and check-in time.

    Required Skills

    1. High school diploma or GED required. Bilingual required (English/Spanish).
    2. Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service setting; preferably a minimum of six months of experience as a scheduler in a radiology scheduling setting.
    3. Minimum typing speed of 50 wpm. 
    4. Knowledge of medical terminology.
    5. Knowledge of scheduling tasks, office policies/procedures, and proper completion of all required documents.
    6. Working knowledge on use of telephone and computer. 
    7. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person and on the telephone to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with patients, families, physicians, staff, and other customers. 
    8. Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks. 
    9. Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and/or written instructions.
