RN Operating Room Circulator - PRN
The RN OR Circulator will provide proficient, age specific, professional nursing skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care for assigned patients in accordance with legal, Surgery center practice and departmental policies and procedures, established standards of nursing care and practice, and as defined by the state of California. Provides direct care to assigned patients.
Required Skills
EDUCATION: Graduate of accredited school of nursing program
EXPERIENCE: Looking for well rounded OR Circulator with Outpatient experience. Minimum 2 years experience in Outpatient setting. Other experience would be desirable in PACU, Preop, GI and conscious sedation, but not necessary.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENT: Current RN license in the state of CA
CERTIFICATIONS: BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Required Experience
Minimum 5 years' previous OR circulating experience preferred. Knowledge of sterile technique. Medical knowledge of multi-specialty surgeries required. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
