Summary of Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise the operations of rental revenue sales to include all front gate sales, online sales, and daily lockers.
- Complete host schedules, payroll, training outlines, online sales reports, PEs, any other assigned projects in a timely manner.
- Screening, interviewing, and hiring process.
- Ensure hosts are properly trained and required paperwork is filed in a timely manner.
- Assist Sr. Lead/Admissions Manager with monitoring labor budgets, control of costs, and developing plans for a more effective guest service.
- Maintain confidentiality as required.
- Make quick and accurate operational decisions.
- Inspect all rental equipment to ensure it is functioning properly; ECVs, Wheelchairs, Strollers, and Lockers.
- Ensure area/hosts have required equipment and supplies.
- Coaching of hosts and discussing disciplinary action recommendations to my Sr. Lead/Admissions Manager.
- Ensure proper flow of communication among all leadership levels regarding significant dates, events, meetings, etc.
- Monitor line speed and immediately respond to volume to insure excellent guest service.
- Listen to problems and grievances of hosts and correct if applicable.
- Assist in implementation of Dollywood’s host recognition programs by motivating and rewarding host performances.
- Attend all required training and meetings.
- Comply with Park safety and security guidelines, as well as policies and procedures to ensure host/guests safety at all times. Report all unsafe acts to proper management.
- React calmly and quickly in stressful/emergency situations.
- Equally represent all hosts to the Sr. Lead/Admissions Manager, creating a climate that results in a feeling of freedom to use the Open Door. (Ensure hosts understanding of policy.)
- Be a role model in the areas of attitude, enthusiasm, and attention to detail, adherence to policies and concern for both the guests and hosts.

Required Experience
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must know all Safety Critical Standards.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of auto liability insurance for use of company vehicles.
- Must be able to operate computer equipment, scanners, phone equipment, copier, facsimile, and calculator.
- Ability to understand and apply basic math skills for use in budgets, schedules, and time sheets.
- Ability to take initiative, self-supervising.
- Ability to read/write, comprehend instruction and communicate in English.
- Ability to analyze and remember information.
- Excellent verbal communicator – consistent and detailed.
- Above average attention to detail and accuracy of information.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Ability to train others in a positive yet constructive manner.
