JOB DESCRIPTION

System Engineer I - Network Operations Center CDOT-ITS & Network Services unit.  Monitoring of the servers, desktops and third-party services. Provides tier 2 support for desktop/server and services to DMO stakeholders.  During peak service times, provide maintenance of CDOT-ITS systems and assets.

Responsible for the monitoring and repairing of CDOT-ITS systems infrastructure. Includes the implementation of hardware and software. Monitors the performance of systems. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 1 year or equivalent experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
