Under minimum supervision, provides assistance to the technologist and Radiologist. Responsible for scheduling various breast biopsies and maintaining information related to patients and procedures. Communicates with physicians’ offices and patients when coordinating scheduling. Responsible for ensuring that all films, reports and CD’s related to the patient’s care are at facility prior to patient arrival and ensuring the Radiologist has access. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Assists at the front desk when needed. Other related duties as assigned.

High school graduate or GED

BLS obtained though an approved American Heart Association provider

Previous healthcare or Medical Assistance experience preferred.
