Insurance Verification Clerk
Hackensack Endoscopy Center is a singular specialty-focused outpatient Gastroenterology/Endoscopy practice. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional patient care that extends beyond the procedure room. We are seeking to add a FT insurance verifier to the practice.
An insurance verification specialist is a health care professional working to ensure that patients’ health care benefits cover required procedures. This medical business office professional contacts a patient’s insurance company to verify coverage levels and works with individuals to educate them on their benefits information. They serve as a valued member of our health care team; helping patients get the medical procedures they need and making the business process as uncomplicated as possible on behalf of the patient. We have budgeted this role for $17-20 an hour based upon years of experience.
