Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner at Texas Spine & Joint Hospital Urgent Care facilities in Tyler, Palestine and Longview, Texas. The position will be based at the Tyler Urgent Care facility. The primary role will be to provide care for orthopedic patients and minor medical situations. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will act under the authority and supervision of the Clinic physician and in accordance with all regulations, hospital policy, protocols and clinical pathways. Must hold a current Texas advance practice nursing license or physician assistant license, current BLS certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days upon hire. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner applicant will have recent hospital/urgent care/emergency room experience preferred. Hours for the Urgent Care in Palestine are 7 AM to 7 PM Monday - Friday and 8am - 6pm on Saturdays. Tyler Urgent Care is open 8am - 8pm Monday - Friday and 8am - 6pm on Saturdays. The clinic is closed on Sundays and Holidays. This position will work various shifts, no nights, no call, and no Holidays. Travel reimbursement for travel from Tyler to Palestine UC and to Longview Clinic.
