Summary: 

       As a member of the CDC Warehouse you will be responsible for a variety of clerical and administrative duties which relate to the functions of the Transportation Departments and will interact with sales, purchasing and other CDC personnel. The person in this position is exposed to all elements that exist in a warehouse environment where the noise level is usually moderate.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform dispatch needs such as ETA requests by sales and service failure call-ins from drivers.
• Assist with transportation communication on outbound deliveries
• Maintain, scan and close manifest daily
• Record and track daily metrics (#stops, hours and miles)
• Time commitment metrics reporting daily.
• Assist with routing as needed
• Maintain logs for stops returned and notify sales (FOB) report out daily
• Maintain and track returns process.  Report out daily
• Coordinate service of the fleet with Miller/Ryder and Penske
• Report IFTA miles to our vendors.  Tracking mileage of the fleet and balance mileage usage of fleet
• Monitor Geotab for fleet maintenance and HOS compliance
• Perform other related duties as required or directed by Manager

Required Skills

• Ability to organize, multi-task and research.
• Product knowledge is desirable.
• Working knowledge of Eclipse and Job Queues (preferred not required)
• Solid knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Required Experience

High School Diploma with some college or vocational school experience preferred with emphasis on operations and logistics and/or equivalent knowledge through job related experience and training.
