POSITION SUMMARY:
Vallen’s Integrated Supply Site Manager is a multi-faceted position. Operating day to day within a Honeywell location to drive program growth and manage the daily Tool Crib activities. The Site Manager ensures positive and profitable customer relationships that contribute to the achievement of Vallen’s financial goals and business objectives.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides leadership and support to the onsite customer by providing Integrated Supply solutions as an individual contributor.
- Ensures sales and profitability goals for local integrated supply site is achieved.
- Drives contractual customer commitments (i.e., customer cost savings, key performance indicators) at local integrated supply site.
- Demonstrates sense of urgency in customer service to both external and internal customers.
- Effectively manages Profit & Loss statement of local integrated supply site ensuring that site meets or exceeds budgeted goal.
- Assure that local integrated supply customer pays Vallen according to agreed upon payment terms.
- Sources and procures all Non-Stock and Spot Buys
- Conducts weekly Cycle Counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Handles all receiving and stocking of all Vallen Managed Parts
- Performs other related duties as requested.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience in operations management, supply chain management, wholesale distribution management, industrial distribution management, manufacturing management, or a similarly applicable industry (indirect materials a plus).
- 1+ years of experience in product sourcing and buying is necessary.
- 1+ years of shipping and receiving experience preferred.
- Must be proficient in the PO payment process.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with ease.
- Attention to detail, including a sense of urgency.
- Superb verbal communication and customer service experience
- Must have a mechanical aptitude and demonstrated knowledge of recognizing manufacturing applications where Vallen products, services and solutions can deliver cost savings to the local integrated supply customer.
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial and business acumen; strong understanding of interpreting and managing by profit and loss statement expectations.
- Proficiency with MS-Office products (Excel, Word) and the technical aptitude to learn all company specific programs and software applications
