We are a joint venture between Baylor Scott & White Health, Tenet Healthcare, United Surgical Partners International, and local physicians. We perform over 7,000 procedures and have 9 operating suites with 21 inpatient rooms, and an emergency department open 24/7 with an ED physician on-site.

    Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club is seeking a Radiology Tech to join our family. 

    Under the direction of radiologists and specialized physicians performs quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner. Assists radiologist and specialized physicians with interventional procedures performed within the department and OR. Practices proper aseptic technique within the sterile field. Operates Radiology equipment safely and practices proper radiation safety techniques at all times, prints films and processes images via PACS and CR. Must be proficient in performing routine diagnostic radiology exams using X-Rays and Fluoroscopy. Must be proficient with routine portable exams and the safe operation of C-Arm equipment within the Operating room. Requires flexible schedule and ability to take department call after hours, weekends and holidays.

    Required Skills

     

    • High school graduate or equivalent
    • TWO TO FIVE YEARS' EXPERIENCE SPECIFIC IN ROUTINE IMAGING AND OPERATING ROOM
    • GRADUATE OF AN AMA – APPROVED SCHOOL OF RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY (AART)
    • REGISTERED WITH THE AMERICAN REGISTRY OF RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGISTS
    • LICENSED BY THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AS A MEDICAL RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST – GENERAL LICENSE
    • Current BLS certification

    Required Experience

  • Qualifications

     

    • High school graduate or equivalent
    • TWO TO FIVE YEARS' EXPERIENCE SPECIFIC IN ROUTINE IMAGING AND OPERATING ROOM
    • GRADUATE OF AN AMA – APPROVED SCHOOL OF RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY (AART)
    • REGISTERED WITH THE AMERICAN REGISTRY OF RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGISTS
    • LICENSED BY THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AS A MEDICAL RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST – GENERAL LICENSE
    • Current BLS certification
