Job Description

Gastro One is seeking a Post-Operative Registered Nurse (PRN) to join our dynamic team. As a PRN RN, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our patients during their post-operative recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive post-operative care for patients undergoing gastro surgery procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, pain levels, and overall condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Assess and document patient progress, responding promptly to any changes in their condition.
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with the surgical team, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment.

Required Skills

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in TN
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Previous experience in a surgical or post-operative care setting helpful
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care.

Required Experience
