    We are looking for a top-performer to join our team as our new Quality Coordinator/Infection Prevention RN. This is a fast paced environment that is driven to reach the highest quality and satisfaction outcomes in Texas. This is an exciting opportunity for a Quality/Performance Improvement professional to take ownership of our program and be part of the exciting future. This position provides assistance with all aspects of Quality/Risk Management/Infection Control/Employee Health under the direction of the Director of Quality Services.

    The Infection Control is trained in hospital epidemiology principles and is responsible for the surveillance, analysis, and reporting of nosocomial infections; educating employees about infection control; and the development of health system policies and procedures to insure rigorous infection control standards that meet JCAHO, OSHA, Public Health Department, and Center for Disease Control requirements.

     

    Required Skills

    • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
    • RN license in the state of Texas
    • Familiar with Core Measures, TJC standards
    • Business office courses or experience, preferred.
    • Business college training is desirable.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, certification preferred
    • Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
    • Possess the ability to deal tactfully with physicians as well as with facility employees.
    • Must possess the ability to prioritize responsibilities and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
