    SUMMARY:

    The MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN is responsible for the general maintenance and repairs for all Rogers West Allis facilities.  The Maintenance Technician promotes a professional and comfortable atmosphere for all customers by diagnosing and performing repairs as needed.

     

    • Building and Facilities Inspection and Compliance
    • Assist in safety inspections for equipment
    • Order parts and maintain required documents per regulatory compliance.
    • Building, Facility, Equipment, and Grounds Maintenance to meet Joint Commission standards
    • Performs snow removal and other grounds maintenance duties
    • Performs minor electrical, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance
    • Performs minor painting, drywall, and carpentry work

     

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds
    • High school diploma preferred; GED required
    • Advanced vocational or technical education preferred
    • Well-rounded handyman experience in a hospital setting is preferred
    • Knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, and alarm systems and associated equipment strongly preferred
    • Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License required
    • Must pass pre-employment background and drug screen
    • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID unless approved for a medical or religious exemption
