    JOB SUMMARY:

    This role exists to provide the Park with stocked merchandise shelves.

    SUMMARY OF MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Stock merchandise.
    • Assist in the maintenance and daily operation of the shop by performing cleaning and display preparation functions.
    • Provide service to Guests and provide them with product information.
    • Sell merchandise.
    • Operate cash register/POS system.
    • Represent Dollywood in a positive manner by being friendly and courteous to guests.
    • Maintain dependable work attendance and flexibility with assigned work schedules including any required overtime, evenings, weekends and holidays.
    • Accommodate changes in work assignments and locations.
    • Get along with guests and co-workers while exhibiting a positive and personable disposition.

    Management reserves the right to change and/or add to these duties at any time.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS NECESSARY TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:

    • Able to tolerate temperatures of 0 to 110 degrees.

    • Able to work outdoors.

    • Able to lift up to 100 pounds.

    • Able to operate/drive a motor vehicle.

    • Able to work comfortably at heights up to 60 feet.

    • Able to learn to operate a calculator.

    • Able to hear, see and speak.

    • Able to speak, read and write English.

    • Able to smile and make eye contact to make a friendly impression when greeting guests, vendors and other employees.

    • Must have manual dexterity necessary to complete all job duties.

    • Able to sit and/or stand for long/short periods.

    • Able to maintain good personal hygiene.

    • Able to get along with other employees to work out problems and resolve conflicts.

    • Able to comprehend instructions and retain information.

    • Able to maintain dependable work attendance and flexibility with assigned work schedules including any required overtime, evenings, weekends and holidays.

    Required Experience

    EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be able to pass a math test.
    • Prior cash handling experience strongly preferred.
    • Prior sales experience strongly preferred.
    • Prior stocking or warehouse experience strongly preferred.
    • Must be 18 years of age.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Must pass a background check.
    • Basic computer skills.
