  • Responsibilities

    JOB SUMMARY:

    This position is responsible for working with the Operations Management team in the day-to-day operations of all aspects of the Operations including the following: Admissions, Attractions, and Transportation/Parking. This is to be done in a manner consistent with the mission, values, and operating philosophies of the Dollywood Company.

    SUMMARY OF MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform Front Line duties as needed including, but not limited to: Ticketing Host, Attractions Host, Transportation/Parking Host, etc.
    • Participate in Safety, Management, and Team Lead meetings.
    • Learn scheduling procedures and applicable State/Federal regulations.
    • Learn time keeping procedures and accompanying Human Resources policies.
    • Learn performance review procedures.
    • Assist with written communications; including the development of new communication methods.
    • Assist with creating and implementing improvements in safety, guest excellence, profit contribution and job satisfaction.
    • Assist with Operations team projects including surveys, appreciation events, team outings and company parties.
    • Assist Operations Management team with various tasks.
    • Completing a minimum of one project benefitting the focus area as determined by Management.
    • Management reserves the right to change and/or add to these duties at any time.

    • Able to tolerate temperatures of 0 to 140 degrees.
    • Able to work outdoors.
    • Able to operate/drive company vehicles.

    Required Experience

    EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be 18 years of age or older.
    • Must be enrolled in an accredited college degree program in a related field.
    • Must have basic computer skills with proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
    • Able to type at least 35 wpm.
    • Ability to obtain Valid TN driver’s license and proof of personal liability insurance according to state law.
