    Radiology Technologist PRN *** COMMIT TO 4 WORKED SHIFTS/MONTH AND 4 ON-CALL SHIFTS/MONTH FLAT RATE OF $28.00/HR.

    This position is an opportunity for a dynamic Radiology Technologist to join a top-notch, surgically-focused hospital. This Radiology Technologist shall demonstrate first class customer service.

    Through the use of accepted techniques and practices, the Radiology Technologists provides high quality Radiographic studies, practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams preformed, and performs a variety of tasks in an often hectic environment that require a high degree of skill, confidence, autonomy, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively. Will also operate X-ray equipment, C-ARMS, prepares patient rooms and equipment.  Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams preformed.

    Exams include all surgery, radiology cases and regular diagnostic cases.

    Required Skills

    EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • High School Diploma / GED.

    • Graduate of a 2 year accredited school of Radiology Technology.

    • Licensed by an Accredited as Medical Radiologic Technologist – General License.

    • Current BLS certification.

    • Experience using C-Arms in an Operating room.

    • Must possess independent decision making skills.

    • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.

    • Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.

    • Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way.
