    _Hershey Outpatient Surgery Center _has an immediate need for a Full Time Pre/Post Op RN to join the team!

    The Hershey Outpatient Surgery Center (HOSC) is currently seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our amazing Perianesthesia Team. We are looking for an experienced RN with ICU or recent PACU experience. Current PA RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS required. Certification in specialty is preferred, but not required. This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, dayshift. We provide a work-life balance that includes weekends, nights and holidays off. No call.

    HOSC is a multispecialty surgery center that includes orthopedics, urology, ophthalmology, GYN, pain management, ENT, and plastics. Our patient population includes pediatric and adults throughout the lifespan. Our physicians and anesthesia providers are part of Penn State Health’s, Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.

    Job Summary: The RN has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the pre- or post-surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. Will the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care. The Pre-Op/Post-Op RN supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
