Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Kingsland is seeking a motivated Operating Room Nurse to join our team. Memorial Hermann Memorial Surgery Center Kingsland is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

• Monday to Friday work schedule
• Saturday GI only cases; voluntary
• NO CALL required
• Off most holidays.

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for assisting the scrub tech in setting up the OR, positioning the patient, prepping the patient and circulating the case. The RN must be willing to cross-train to the endoscopy circulator role and will be expected to circulate all service lines.

Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.

Required Skills

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Currently licensed in the state. CPR, ACLS, and Pals required. CNOR preferred.
• Three years’ experience required. Endo or cross trained into Endoscopy
• Nursing internship/externship experience preferred.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
• Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.
