Pre-Op/PACU Full time-.

$3,000 SIGN ON BONUS is paid after 90 days and you must be employed.  If you leave before one year, you  must pay it back at a pro-rated amount.

Grass Valley, CA is looking for a Pre-Op/PACU RN that is  looking to train as and OR Circulator.  A fantastic opportunity to get training to transition to the OR. 

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current CA Nursing License
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Pre-Op/PACU
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understand principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
• Ability to care for patients with changing medical priorities and ability to respond accordingly
• Knowledge base to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Excellent teaching skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrate strong professional and ethical behavior
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians and fellow employees. (TEAMWORK)
• Strong customer service skills
• Demonstrate accountability, creativity, innovation and be receptive to change
• Possess basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideology

Education: Graduate of Accredited Nursing program.

License: Active Registered Nursing License issued by the State of California.

Certifications: BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications required. (ACLS or PALS can be obtained within 3 months of hire)
