    THE MARKETING COORDINATOR WILL ASSIST WITH COORDINATION OF DAILY ACTIVITIES, ON-GOING PROJECTS AND CRITICAL ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS.  STRONG COPYWRITING SKILLS ARE ESSENTIAL AND CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS A FLEXIBLE, HANDS-ON APPROACH WITH GOOD INTERPERSONAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE DETAIL ORIENTED, HAVE BOTH PRINT AND DIGITAL MARKETING EXPERIENCE AND BE ABLE TO FUNCTION IN A DEADLINE DRIVEN WORK ENVIRONMENT. STRONG ORGANIZATIONAL PROJECT AND TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS REQUIRED AS WELL AS THE ABILITY TO MULTI-TASK AND PRIORITIZE. THIS PERSON CAN WORK WELL INDEPENDENTLY, AS WELL AS HAS DEMONSTRATED SUCCESS IN A TEAM ENVIRONMENT. ADDITIONAL ROLES OF RESPONSIBILITIES ARE INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE BELOW:

    • Own entire process for production of collateral materials (Marketing and Group Sales) from creative design inception, initial quotes and trafficking of projects to final printing and delivery. Includes working directly with graphic designers, Marriott, outside partners and sponsors, on-park teams, on-park sign shop and off-site printing companies. Currently over 100 projects per year and growing.
    • Input budgets into JDE, process invoices for timely payment and maintain spreadsheet comparing expenses to budget (Mkt, PR, GS)
    • Maintain the budget for Marketing, PR & Group Sales, discuss discrepancies with Managers and report monthly at P&L meetings
    • Manage film projects from scouting areas, working with film crews, managing details with on-park teams, wrap up and invoicing
    • Social media monitoring during weekdays as well as weekends and nights on rotation with other team members. Manage continued increase in social media needs including Facebook & Instagram live, photos, videos and user generated content posts
    • Responsible for weekly Guest Research report that is sent to Directors and Managers
    • Responsible for weekly Attendance and Parking report for Marketing Meeting
    • Manage all on-park activations for radio remotes, partners, and sponsors, including initial details/calls, walk-thrus, making sure all marketing needs are fulfilled, set-up, and wrap-up
    • Provide copywriting support for collateral materials, website and emails as needed
    • Manage on-park distribution of collateral (i.e. maps, brochures, flyers, etc.) to gates, campground, Marriott
    • Audit on-park collateral and signage monthly
    • Assist with email campaigns, email calendar, copy as needed
    • Responsible for keeping track and updating monthly marketing calendar
    • Serve as point of contact for general marketing inquiries
    • Fulfillment of all promotional ticket orders and brochure and donation requests
    • Responsible for managing ticket requests and ticket delivery to hotels
    • Respond to General Information e-mails as needed
    • Organize and maintain Image & Video Library and Collateral Archive

     

    Required Skills

    TO PERFORM THIS JOB SUCCESSFULLY, AN INDIVIDUAL MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM EACH ESSENTIAL DUTY SATISFACTORILY. THE REQUIREMENTS LISTED BELOW ARE REPRESENTATIVE OF KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND/OR ABILITY REQUIRED.  REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS MAY BE MADE TO ENABLE INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS. 

    • Must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays as necessary (associated with Special Events)

    • Previous customer service or public relations experience required
    • Must be able to read, speak, write and understand English proficiently
    • Must be detailed oriented and able to follow written and oral instructions
    • Must be able to multi-task and work well independently in a fast-paced environment
    • Must possess the ability to prioritize task and meet deadlines
    • Must have computer experience including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet
    • Photoshop and HTML experience is preferred

    Required Experience

    • COLLEGE DEGREE IN MARKETING, ADVERTISING, OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
    • ADVERTISING/MARKETING EXPERIENCE STRONGLY PREFERRED
    • MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE RELATING TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC REQUIRED
    • MUST HAVE AND MAINTAIN A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE
