ARIZONA SPECIALTY HOSPITAL, 2905 West Warner Road, CHANDLER, AZ

PSU Nursing Assistant (Full Time 30 hrs per week / 6 am to 6 pm shift) CNA and PCT (Patient Care Technician)

• Responsible for helping our surgical patients through their inpatient stay, providing basic care needs, under the direction of a RN.
• Knowledgeable in how to take vital signs, provide personal care and ambulate patients
• Safe operation of wheel chair and ability to assist patients
• Back up for LAB department and HUC support
• Other general duties as needed by the Manager of PSU

Required Skills

• Physical demands include walking and standing, opening doors, carrying packages, helping patients to safely enter a vehicle.

Required Experience

• High School Graduate/GED
• Previous CNA experience
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate
• Current BLS certification
