    The Sales and Operations Development Program is a dynamic, intensive program designed to educate, train and develop skills in emerging talent to invigorate our workforce and support your success in establishing your career! You will get hands-on experience in every aspect of our business through on-the-job, e-learning, subject matter expert training, and residency trips. This 6-month rotational program includes exposure to the site and corporate operations, sales strategies, processes, procurement, project management, E-Commerce, and the Sonepar USA and our Operating Companies’ business philosophy. At the conclusion of this dynamic program, you will have the unique opportunity to present to our Executive Leadership team on key strategic organizational initiatives. The core rotations of this program are:

     

    • Warehouse/Logistics
    • Inside Sales/Counter/Storeroom
    • Projects & Quotations
    • Sales/E-Commerce/Specialty

     

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

    LICENSES AND PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:

    • N/A

     

    TRAVEL REQUIRED: 0-10%

     

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Work is sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 60% of the time.
    • Work can involve the operation of forklift, equipment such as pallet jacks and climb ladders; bend, stoop, lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

    PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:

    • This position works in a normal office environment as well as a warehouse environment, with standard office equipment. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. while working in the office. 
    • The noise level in the warehouse environment is usually moderate and the temperature can change based on the season. This position also requires frequent travel to customer sites, which can be in a variety of environments including outdoor with inclement weather.
