    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Admissions Area Supervisor will direct and oversee the activities of assigned team members. They also train, develop, motivate and coach assigned team members. Essential functions include acting as the guest advocate in all interactions. Admissions Area Supervisor performs all duties of Admissions Team Members, Guest Advocate Representatives and Admissions Team Lead. This position assists the Admissions Operations Manager in ensuring the safe, smooth and efficient operation of their area in both guest view and back areas while providing excellent Guest Service. Work locations include, but are not limited to, parking lot, toll booths, ticket kiosks, turnstiles, season pass center, guest relations and welcome center. Communication of park information, admission costs and guidelines, safety rules and crowd control are included in the daily job functions. Admissions Area Supervisors work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions and often perform physically demanding tasks. This will include successful communication with Guests and Team Members in both positive and stressful situations. Professionalism and a positive attitude must be displayed at all times.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Performs all duties of Admissions, Guest Advocate Representatives and Admissions Team Lead
    • Supervises, coaches, trains, and develops line level employees and leads
    • Ensures guests issues are handled appropriately and responds to guest issues as requested
    • Establishes and maintains good working relationships with Marketing, Group Sales, and other departments outside of Park Operations
    • Assists in overseeing guest correspondence and lost and found
    • Performs all administrative duties as assigned
    • Must be willing to work outside of his or her zone of assignment to fulfill general park needs on occasion
    • Ensure compliance with all Herschend Family Entertainment and Wild Adventures policies and procedures
    • Represents the company to guests and other team members in a positive and friendly manner 
    • Satisfies Wild Adventures' standards for performance and conduct. For example, reports to work regularly and on time
    • "Create Memories Worth Repeating" for our Guests by exceeding guest expectations 
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    WORK ENVIRONMENT: Position requires both indoor and outdoor work in all weather conditions and in presence of dust and odors. Team Members are susceptible to the exposure of various chemicals, bodily fluids, blood borne pathogens and prolonged exposure to sunlight

    Required Experience

    SKILLS & ABILITIES

    EDUCATION: Possess or working towards High School Diploma or GED preferred 

    EXPERIENCE: Supervisory experience and/or Customer Service experience preferred 

    COMPUTER SKILLS: Position requires Team Member to have strong basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office  

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be at least 16 years of age
    • Must be able to read, write and speak English
    • Must be available to work days, evenings, weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed
    • Must have reliable transportation
