    USPI MAPLE LAWN SURGERY CENTER is seeking a motivated FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST to join our team. Maple Lawn Surgery Center is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. Duties for the Front Desk Receptionist include, but not limited to:

    • Answer phones in a professional and customer friendly manner.
    • Determine the caller's needs and help them by answering questions or directing them to another person who will be able to help.
    • Interface with patients and families, physicians and staff in a professional and cordial manner.
    • cross train to help in the following areas: admitting, Medical Records, patient collections
    • Enter patient demographics/information in system.
    • Miscellaneous Administrative Duties for our Business Office.

    Required Skills

     Qualifications and Experience for the Front Desk Receptionist:

     

    • High school graduate or equivalent.
    • One year of hospital experience.
    • Medical Terminology preferred.
    • Formal training in customer service is preferred.
    • Must have skills necessary to operate the office equipment required to fulfill job duties.

    USPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.  If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date.  If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
