Job Description
Part Time Teller
(up to 29 hours a week), Monday – Saturday
PURPOSE
Provides “whatever it takes” service to process routine member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing in a fast paced, branch environment. Proactive in providing an excellent member experience with a sense of urgency, speed and accuracy.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of one year of cash handling experience helpful.
Bi-lingual in Spanish, helpful.
Associates degree or high school diploma or with three years progressively responsible job experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates excellent phone rapport.
Handle multiple commitments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Consistently works well with others in support of departmental and organizational goals, and member needs.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to overcome member objections.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Possesses strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
Excellent computer skills, including:
Working knowledge of “money and banking” concepts.
Proficient in branch operations, including branch security and robbery prevention practices.
ABILITY TO WORK IN OTHER BRANCH LOCATIONS AS BUSINESS NEEDS DICTATE.
ABILITY TO WORK VARIOUS HOURS BASED ON BUSINESS NEEDS, INCLUDING SATURDAYS AND SOME EVENINGS.
