Located in Orlando, Vitality Veterinary Services of Waterford provides first-class veterinary care, including diagnostics, wellness vaccinations, and treatment of illnesses and injuries. We are a very dedicated group of caring professionals who constantly strive to provide the best animal health care and customer service possible. It is with the help of our professional staff that we educate our clients on proper health care information for all pets.

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a motivated, articulate, enthusiastic "people person" who pays attention to details, enjoys interacting with a wide variety of clients and their pets, can handle a fast pace and takes pride in a job well done. Our ideal candidate will have two years or more of veterinary reception experience, the ability to work both evenings and weekends, excellent phone and computer skills and a love of animals.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Greet patients, their pets, vendors, pharmaceutical representatives, and other visitors to our medical office
• Answer patient questions, provide assistance and directions when necessary
• Field all phone calls that arrive using our general office number
• Send emails using our general office email address
• Utilize our medical office software to schedule new and follow-up appointments for our patients
• Register new patients and update necessary records
• Distribute forms and paperwork to patients and then check them over to ensure that required fields are completed appropriately
• Process bills, invoices, and patient payments in office
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient records
• Ensure that the waiting room environment remains quiet, calm, organized and welcoming
• Uphold the positive reputation of our medical office by always treating visitors in a friendly, welcoming, and compassionate manner
