    United Way of Northwest Florida (UWNWFL) is hiring an FINANCE SPECIALIST. This position is responsible for managing the day to day finances of UWNWFL.  Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: accounting & finance, fundraising campaign donation management, annual audit assistance, invoicing, attendance at UWNWFL events, communication with UWNWFL partner agencies, donors and stakeholders, grant reporting.  

    OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES

    ·         All Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable functions

    ·         Monthly analysis and preparation of financial statements

    ·         Prepares, settles, and outstanding distributes invoices

    ·         Reconcile bank accounts monthly

    ·         Grant reporting

    ·         Prepare monthly financial statements

    ·         Prepare and distributes pledge reminders

    ·         Accounts Receivable Summary report / review

    ·         Prepares Funds Distribution worksheets

    ·         Affiliated agency updates and disbursements

    ·         Unaffiliated agency updates and disbursements

    ·         QuickBooks annual update

    ·         Performs research, composes reports, and completes projects as assigned

    ·         Process all pledge payments into fundraising and accounting systems

    ·         Tracks and process all credit card transactions

    ·         Maintains financial records  

    ·         Maintains Campaign Data Report

    ·         Oversee campaign data entry

    ·         Performs multi-faceted general office support in relation to specified job responsibilities, as well as to assist other staff members when requested

    ·         Other duties as assigned

    EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

    EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 2 to 5 years of experience in Finance, Quickbooks and other financial software, Excel and Microsoft Office, accounting.

    SALARY RANGE:  Based on education/experience
