    Job Description

    • Develop and execute strategies to meet accreditation and regulatory body benchmarks while striving to meet Unitek Learning goals for graduate employment outcomes and overall placement rates for assigned programs and campuses.
    • Utilize data-driven methodologies and a placement producing activity cycle, similar to a sales funnel, to drive graduate employment outcomes and reported placement rates. This includes goals and metrics that track employer outreach calls, received job orders, resume submittals, graduate interviews, graduate job offers and graduates that start employment.
    • Conduct outreach to employers to secure job orders and match graduates to suitable openings, facilitating interview preparation, resume updates and coordinating interviews with employers.
    • Effectively communicate and build trust with employers to obtain feedback (through standardized Employer Surveys) regarding newly hired graduates ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and to ensure graduates are meeting the needs of employers for entry level positions in the field of study.
    • Deliver high quality support and engagement to understand graduates’ career goals by providing job coaching, assistance with job search by matching graduates to opportunities and assisting them through the application, interview and hiring process.
    • Provide personalized support to graduates, offering guidance and assistance in overcoming barriers to employment.
    • Maintain accurate and consistent documentation of employer and graduate outreach activities to include phone calls, texts, and emails applicable to all phases of the job search process and securing employment in the graduate’s field of study.
    • Verify graduate employment records, entry, and documentation maintenance to meet company and accreditation compliance standards and regulations.
    • Collaborate with campus staff to ensure alignment of graduate placement efforts with program curricula and industry demands.
    • If the Graduate Employment Specialist is assigned fully online programs, will assist students with general career preparation engagement activities such as conducting the Career Seminar, Resume and Interview workshops aiding with resume completion, conducting mock interviews and Exit Interview completion prior to graduation in addition to proving placement support post-graduation.
    • With the support of the Regional Director of Career Services, monitor and analyze placement data to identify trends, assess effectiveness of strategies and implement improvements.
    • Working headcount per Graduate Employment Specialist varies by program assignment. Allied Health and Specialty programs typically have a graduate working headcount between 100-200. Nursing program graduate working headcount is typically between 300-400.
    • Provide regular updates on placement activities and outcomes to Regional Director of Career Services.
    • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall mission and objectives of Unitek Learning.

    • Minimum ABHES and ACCSC employment rate benchmark is 70% for the cohort reporting year then striving to meet Unitek Learning goals of 87% employment rate for each program assigned.
    • Meet weekly/monthly, graduate placement run rates and supporting placement producing activity goals to ensure accreditation and regulatory compliance benchmarks are exceeded and internal Unitek Learning goals are met. Placement Producing Activities include in and outbound phone calls to graduates and employers, texts, emails, job orders received, resume submittals, graduate interviews, job offers and actual hires.
    • Minimum Employer Survey response rate of 35%.

    **Education, Qualifications & Skills: **

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Candidates with equivalent education and combined experience will also be considered.
    • 2+ years’ experience in career services, recruitment, sales, or related field.
    • A natural blend of being people oriented as well as task and metric motivated working under deadlines.
    • Self-motivated, energetic, positive and ability to find creative or resourceful solutions while learning and working in a remote environment independently or as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Familiarity with ABHES and/or ACCSC accreditation standards and regulations is a plus.
    • Experience in PowerBI and CampusVue/CampusNexus a plus.
    • Strong organizational, attention to detail, documentation, and follow-up skills.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building abilities.
    • Adaptability to work standard business hours Pacific Standard Time regardless of geographic location. One late shift per week until 7:00 pm Pacific Standard Time.
    • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a remote environment and be a proactive remote learner.
    • Robust understanding of the job search and hiring process.
