Job Purpose: Provide guests with a warm greeting and then send them on their way with a fond farewell. You will park guests' vehicles safely and expediently in an organized fashion and properly ticket every vehicle. You must always demonstrate professionalism in appearance and attitude to ensure all valet interactions are memorable and unique. Principal Responsibilities: - Take numbered tags from customers, locate vehicles, and deliver vehicles, or provide customers with instructions for locating vehicles. - Inspect vehicles to detect any damage. - Greet customers and open their car doors. - Issue ticket stubs or place numbered tags on windshields, log tags or attach tag to customers' keys, and give customers matching tags for locating parked vehicles. - Perform cash handling tasks, such as making change, balancing and recording cash drawer, or distributing tips. - Explain and calculate parking charges, collect fees from customers, and respond to customer complaints. - Provide customer assistance and information, such as giving directions or handling wheelchairs. - Keep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximized. Skills/Qualifications: - At least 18 years of age - Self- motivated - Clean Valid Driver's License - Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles (stick shift) preferred. - Pass a pre-employment background check including MVR and criminal - Previous valet and customer service experience preferred - Ability to verbally communicate with guests - Able to run repeatedly for extended periods. - Must be able and willing to working outside in all elements (heat, rain, snow, cold).
