INVENTORY QUALITY MANAGER

REPORTS TO: Director of Vendor Relations

LOCATION: Flexible

SUMMARY:

The Inventory Quality Manager at Capital Electric Supply is responsible for the overall quality and performance of our inventory investment across the entire branch network.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor inventory quality at the shipping branch level and develop strategies for improvement
• Produce Top and Future 20 reports on a monthly basis
• Schedule and lead monthly review calls with targeted shipping branches
• Schedule and lead monthly review calls with product managers
• Maintain and monitor Capital’s Vendor Return Calendar
• Monitor and lead Capital’s reserve inventory reduction program
• Prepare and execute shipping branch scrap requests
• Track approved scrap requests and report those to finance on a monthly basis
• Analyze initial inventory offering for new branch openings
• Manage branch Auto Transfer project
• Other duties as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma
• Strong data analytics background
• Accomplished Microsoft Excel user with Pivot Table experience
• Electrical product knowledge a bonus
• Proven dependable leader with strong verbal & written communication skills
• Reliable, responsible, and a great work ethic 
• Self-starter who can work well with others
