    Microstrategy Developer/Architect

     

    LOCATION : Overland Park KS

    End Date : 06/28/2020

     

     

     

    The Microstrategy Developer/Architect will be responsible for analyzing complex system requirements and the subsequent development of reporting, analytical, and dashboard solutions using the MicroStrategy BI platform for various business domains. The candidate must have multiple years of expertise in using the MicroStrategy Tool set and should be well versed in all aspects of the product and should be able to work in teams in a collaborative manner.

     

    • 5+ YEARS' EXPERIENCE IN DEVELOPING WITH MICROSTRATEGY APPLICATION OBJECT DEVELOPMENT: METRICS, ATTRIBUTES, FACTS, TEMPLATES, FILTERS, REPORTS, DASHBOARDS, ETC.
    • MICROSTRATEGY TRANSACTION SERVICES IS A MUST .
    • Solid knowledge of BI architecture, data warehousing concepts, and data visualization best practices.
    • Work with business client to determine reporting requirements. Ensure business rules are accurately captured
    • Experience with SQL Server 2017 Data and ETL tools a plus
    • Able to speak with business customers to understand and define a problem.
    • Able to use problem solving skills to identify alternative solutions and approaches to a problem along with costs and benefits of each (tangible or intangible)
    • Must be able to debug and fix production/existing issues.
    • Strong experience reading and writing SQL.
