    We currently have an outstanding opportunity for a Service Coordinator supporting our Cooper Power Systems division based out of our Ocean, NJ facility. 

    Required Skills

    As a Service Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will be to provide daily scheduling and coordination of service calls to our field Generator Technicians. Scheduling will consist of regular preventative maintenance, emergency calls and repair work. The Service Coordinate will be responsible for the following:

     

    • Answering a large volume of incoming calls and emails in a timely manner.
    • Schedule service jobs for technicians based on priority.
    • Follow-up on maintenance quotes to increase revenue.
    • Maintain open communication with technicians and co-workers on a variety of issues.
    • Follow-up with customers on job status and feedback
    • Review of daily/weekly schedules to confirm jobs are acknowledged and being completed

    Required Experience

    The ideal candidate will have experience in a service coordination or customer service role.

     

    • Strong oral and written communication skills required. 
    • Possess a proactive and positive team approach to problem resolution.
    • Must have the ability to establish strong relationships with customers, co-workers and management
    • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects while meeting established deadlines
    • Strong degree of customer service
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite; particularly Word and Excel; Adobe Suite knowledge preferred
    • Attention to detail
  • Qualifications
