  • Responsibilities

    The Training Coordinator is responsible for providing training in support of the professional growth of Associates. Designs and conducts training and development programs to improve performance. Serves as a resource for department staff on functions and protocols. Reinforces compliant and effective business office practices and contributes to staff’s ability to exceed productivity and quality expectations in order to improve staff job satisfaction and ensure appropriate reimbursement.

    Required Skills

    1. Familiar with the business office environment, billing and follow-up procedures, and other back-end responsibilities.
    2. Confident and able to present information to front-line, mid-level, and upper Management levels.
    3. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
    4. Comfortable leading presentations and holding a leadership role.
    5. Multitasking and prioritization skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously .
    6. High capacity to identify, analyzes, and develops solutions for inefficiencies in departmental operations.
    7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    8. Proficient in Microsoft office to create reports and design training materials.

    Required Experience

                WORK EXPERIENCE:

                Two years of experience with healthcare billing, third-party insurance, patient access, scheduling and self-pay collection practices. Two years of experience in technical training and/or teaching.

               

                LICENSE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION

                None.

     

                EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

                Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
