    YOUR CAREER

    As the Technical Intern for the Marketing Technology (MarTech) team, you will have the unique opportunity to work on projects grounded more in programming and database design than a typical marketing internship. 

    You will get hands-on experience helping the MarTech team translate custom business requirements to scalable solutions. Engineering majors are not required, but you should have basic knowledge / fluency in one general purpose programming language (preferably Python).

    YOUR IMPACT

    • Automate and enhance existing integrations across the Marketing tech stack; identify manual steps in existing processes that can be automated via creative applications of Google Sheets API, Tray.io Python module, and Marketo endpoints

    • Streamline API Integration requests from individual API calls to BULK ones, leveraging both drag-and-drop interfaces and basic Python

    • Help query and wrangle MarTech operational data to ensure systems are working smoothly

    This is a rare opportunity to combine marketing and technology/engineering skills to help build a best-in-class tech stack. This is entry-level into the Palo Alto Networks marketing operations organization, an award-winning team that won the Marketo Revvie for “Best Marketing Team of the year”.

    YOUR EXPERIENCE

    • Engineering major not required, but candidates should have basic knowledge / fluency in one general purpose programming language (preferably Python)

    • Have an interest in marketing technology

    • Proven ability to learn new technology quickly and adapt to changing needs

    • Analytical and problem solving mindset with the ability to articulate complex issues in simple terms 

    • Unafraid (and actually enjoys) projects that require multiple failures before lift off

    • To apply, you must be pursuing a 4-year Undergraduate Degree with a GPA of 3.0 or above, or a 2-year Master's Degree 

    • You must have the authorization to work within the United States- please note that we will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position
