EMT Safety Officer
Job Description
University Village Thousand Oaks is currently hiring a Full Time EMT Safety Officer to work Thursday-Monday, 11pm-7:00am! The EMT Safety Officer is responsible for responding immediately to all emergency situations at the community. This position will also assist other Safety Department personnel with conducting internal and external rounds, responding to non-emergency calls for service and is required to demonstrate the acts and principles of exemplary customer service to all internal and external customers at all times.
JOB DUTIES
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED.
Current First Aid, CPR, AED, and EMT certification required.
Minimum 1 year of EMT experience preferred. Ability to use good judgment and stay calm during an emergency. Previous experience with security, safety and/or medical/emergency response preferred.
Ability to understand and follow instructions in English required. Must have effective communication skills both verbal and written, and perform simple arithmetic.
Must have high level of customer service / hospitality skills.
Must be familiar with computers and able to learn/operate safety systems & equipment.
Prior experience working with senior citizens preferred.
FBI and DOF criminal record clearance.
