    The ideal candidate is a highly organized, smart, self-starter with a penchant for details, and a passion for systems and processes. This person will report to the Senior Director of Philanthropy Operations.

    Here's what you'll do:

    • Provide administrative support to the department, ensuring a high level of accuracy and professional accountability
    • Manage email inbox for Philanthropy Team and ensure timely responses
    • Receive and organize physical mail delivered to the office
    • Daily data entry, clean up and organization in our web-based CyberGrants database
    • Support corporate and family foundation philanthropic systems and logistics, including processing and tracking thousands of donations annually
    • Support the employee Wonderful Giving and Wonderful Neighbor programs, including but not limited to vetting employee-nominated organizations for eligibility by searching the IRS database, completing timely communication to employee inquiries, and obtaining donation acknowledgment letters for tax purposes
    • Operate with and contribute to a continuous improvement mindset, maximizing processes within the department by mapping out potential systems changes to increase effectiveness
    • Collaborate with Sr Manager of Philanthropy Operations to support departmental philanthropic efforts and business unit goals
    • Additional responsibilities and projects, as assigned

    Qualifications

    Here's what you'll bring to the table:

    • If based in the Central Valley able to travel to LA at least once a week or if based in LA able to travel to Central Valley on occasion
    • Conversational Spanish preferred (able to communicate effectively without the use of translator)
    • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office products
    • A positive, thoughtful, and collaborative team player who is ready to roll up their sleeves and work with urgency
    • The ability to record data and analyze situations using Excel and other systems
    • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, with a track record of communicating to internal and external stakeholders in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks with detail and precision, and maintain strong working relationships with geographically dispersed partners
    • A desire to leave this world a little better than you found it

    _ Pay Range: $26.00 - $28.00/Hour . Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience._
