    TPC Harding Park, located in San Francisco, CA, offers two impressive courses open to the public: The Harding Park golf course and the Fleming 9. TPC Harding Park has been honored as “#13 Municipal Golf Course in the United States” as well as the “#24 Best Course to Play in California,” by Golfweek Magazine. Golf Digest Magazine has also named it as, “one of the Best Places to Play,” ranking it a 4.5 star golf course. TPC Harding Park enjoys a storied history as a frequent PGA TOUR stop and is host of the 2020 PGA Championship and 2025 Presidents Cup.

    TPC Harding Park is currently seeking a PART-TIME GOLF SHOP COORDINATOR for our Golf Shop Operation.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Assist PGA TOUR players, Members and Guests with their golfing needs, ensuring that every step of their golf experience at the club runs as smoothly and is as enjoyable as possible. 
    • Greet and welcome Members and Guests.
    • Answer telephones to schedule future starting times.
    • Handle and count cash, make accurate change, record credit cards, gift certificates and Member charges described by standard operating procedures.  Collect green fees, car fees, and other incomes. 
    • Assist with the daily cleaning of the golf shop to ensure continued cleanliness and appearance of the Golf Shop, storage areas, and merchandise displays. 
    • Ensure that displays are kept at par stock inventory levels at all times and that the appearance meets or exceeds PGA TOUR Golf Course Properties, Inc. standards.
    • Professionally communicate information, sell merchandise, and become fully knowledgeable in all products and sales techniques.  Anticipate the needs of Members and uests and offer appropriate merchandise alternatives.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS CANDIDATES WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

    • Merchandising experience in retail preferred
    • Prior customer service experience
    • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Must be at least 18 years of age

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications
    • Valid Class A CDL and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
    • Ability to display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and customers at all times.
    • Ability to work outdoors with exposure to extreme heat and cold and other outdoor environmental conditions.
    • Ability to operate equipment, tools and controls, perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists and feet, frequent reaching, climbing (up and down the truck several times a day), stooping, kneeling, crouching, sitting and lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
    • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and OT.
    • Ability to pass pre-employment processes including criminal background check, DOT physical, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Report.
    • Ability to wear and use required Personal Protective Equipment.
