    TPC Sawgrass is home to THE PLAYERS Championship, the birthplace of the TPC Network, and the backdrop to the PGA TOUR headquarters. Located in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, it is perhaps the world’s most famous golf course. Golf enthusiast will find not one, but two public PGA TOUR championship courses at the club, both designed by world-renowned architect Pete Dye. Golf Digest honored THE PLAYERS Stadium Course as #46 on America’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses and #11 on America’s 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses in 2019 - 2020. Golfweek ranked THE PLAYERS Stadium Course #10 among the top 100 resorts courses in the US in 2019.

     

     TPC Sawgrass is seeking TEMPORARY MERCHANDISE STAFF to assist at the merchandise locations during THE PLAYERS Championship (Dates needed from approx. March 10th – 15th, 2020).

     

    This position will assist with THE PLAYERS retail merchandise including:

    • Providing excellent customer service to guests 
    • Handling of cash and credit card transactions
    • Operate Point-of-Sale system
    • Assist with all merchandise relative to THE PLAYERS Championship
    • Moving boxes of merchandise as needed

     

    QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

    • Prior related experience preferred
    • Previous cash handling experience
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Must be able to lift up to 40lbs occasionally
    • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Qualifications
    1. Ability to read and understand documents.
    2. Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees and organizations.
    3. Ability to carry/lift up to 75 lbs.
    4. Clean driving record with 0 accidents and less than 8 MVR Points.
    5. Must be able to maintain a DOT physical and medical card.
    6. Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves manual labor.
    7. Ability to maintain alertness and acuity that is not typically impaired by any medication, diet, or physical condition.
    8. Ability to maintain workloads that may include travel to a variety of states for days or weeks, and daily timeframes that could exceed the typical 8-hour shift.
    9. Effective knowledge and use of navigation systems.
    10. Must be able to safely and competently pull and place a trailer.
