Job Description
As the Marketing Project Manager at Unleaded, you will be responsible for keeping asset and content creation on track and in line with the client marketing strategy. You will focus on keeping the project management system updated, working closely with the creative and web teams to keep them on-task and on-budget and ensure created assets (digital ads, sales collateral, etc.) and content (blogs, articles, webinars, etc.) are in sync with the client marketing strategy, set in place by the Marketing Director and Marketing Strategist. This is a people-oriented role that will require a lot of collaboration across departments and the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities at once. This is an on-site position at the Unleaded office in Houston, TX.
Project Manager responsibilities are as follows:
Checking in with the marketing, creative and web development teams on a daily basis to make sure questions are being answered and projects are running on schedule
Working in our project management system to set up and schedule projects, keep project status updated and help the marketing and creative teams with resource allocations
Ensuring projects stay on schedule and on budget, as well as determining and managing change orders where applicable
Working closely with the Marketing Director and Marketing Strategist to stay updated on marketing strategies and initiatives for clients to make sure all materials and content created are aligned and will achieve the business objectives
Preferred Requirements:
1+ years of marketing experience
Ability to work well and collaborate with multiple personality types
The discipline and work ethic to create great work time and again
An understanding of basic marketing, branding and advertising principles
Ability to effectively communicate and hold team members to project deadlines, mandatories and parameters
Able to manage stressful situations well, stay organized and put in extra hours when needed
Bachelor’s degree in creative writing, advertising, communications, journalism, marketing or a related discipline nice but we have an open mind
