YOUR ROLE AT UNLEARN

Working collaboratively with data scientists and machine learning engineers to lead and execute quality engineering practices. These duties include:

• contributing to the design and implementation of software component interfaces,
• auditing existing software structure and practice, and
• automating testing and quality assurance systems.

Authoring software specification, design, and testing documents through system life cycle. This includes deliverables such as:

• user requirements,
• functional/design specifications,
• qualification protocols, and
• support documentation (i.e. traceability matrices, SOP, etc.).

Communicating with coworkers, clients, and regulators through meetings and documents.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

You are an engineer who wants to ensure that Unlearn's new computational approach to clinical science can stand up to the highest standards of software design and regulatory compliance.

You'll likely have:

• B.S, M.S, or Ph.D in Science or Engineering.
• Experience developing test plans, designing, implementing, executing and analyzing test cases, writing bug reports, and assessing risk.
• Experience developing software design documentation, and process documentation (SOPs, validation checklists, etc.) 
• Experience with system-level software design and testing
• Experience in Python, git, and Unix operating systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• The flexibility and adaptability necessary to be an early employee at an ambitious startup
• Ability to work in our downtown San Francisco office
