    FIGHT CYBERCRIME WITH UNTANGLE'S AMAZING PRODUCTS.

    You will be working alongside some of the brightest minds. We are looking for you to bring your expertise, drive, and passion. This is your chance to join us on our journey as we expand our global presence. Support the full sales cycle from a technical perspective, be the knowledge matter expert on the Untangle's technology portfolio & act as a conduit between Sales and Product Management, Professional Services and Technical Support. Start with the scoping of the project (analysis, success criteria, limitations), assist with demos while guiding proof of values (Helping to showcase value with some customisation and product config) and ensure technical sign off versus success criteria. 

    A CLOSER LOOK AT THIS KEY ROLE

    • Engage with select customers at pre-sales time to provide product demos, to understand and explain how Untangle products fit specifically into their environment.

    • Facilitate product ramp up by helping with technical questions by email and by joining online customer meetings.

    • Be known as a subject matter expert on all Untangle products. Be a go to person for sales, marketing etc. as someone with deep technical knowledge of products.

    • Contribute to and influence the feature development process in areas of user experience, technical infrastructure, use cases, portfolio positioning by bringing deep knowledge of the customer base into the process.

    • Contribute to architectural decisions based on deep customer infrastructure and market trend knowledge.

    • Provide technical assistance on public facing communities, for example forums, Spiceworks, feedback sites and social media sites.

    • Carry out testing of new technologies / new releases in a lab environment.

    • Help identify, sign up and hand hold beta program participants and provide technical assistance as they ramp up their deployments.

    • Come up with white papers, technical blogs, and sort product tips communications that facilitate specific areas of product deployment.

    • Enable Untangle go-to-market efforts by contributing to launch briefs, product training and by supporting Untangle field teams and partners.

    • Provide Sales Engineering level product presentations and training materials for internal and external audiences.

    • Present to customers, partners, and distributors on details of the latest product releases, overviews of products and in webinars that drill into deep technical areas.

    • Be an expert on the competitive landscape, contribute to and provide competitive positioning documents and know how to position Untangle products relative to similar products.

    • Help at trade shows and run set up of trade show demo equipment.

    You'll need

    • At least 3 years industry relevant experience with an engineering background

    • Knowledge of Networking and Security  

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with flawless English written grammar

    • Confident and compelling presentation skills

    • Strategy, analytic and messaging skills as well as the ability to effectively engage and influence both customer and Untangle decision makers

     DESIRED SKILLS

    • Experience with Firewall and SD-WAN technologies

    • Experience with Cloud and Hybrid Cloud infrastructure technologies

    • Experience working with the Channel (Partners, MSP’s, Distribution)

    • Experience with Linux OS and command line networking and troubleshooting

    • Experience in technical writing and product documentation

    • Ability to write and understand code snippets occasionally
