WE'RE LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED SELF-STARTER WHO IS EXCELLENT WITH TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS AND HAS THE ABILITY TO PRIORITIZE EFFECTIVELY AND MEET DEADLINES.  WORKING BOTH AS AN INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTOR AND IN COLLABORATION WITH BOTH SALES AND MARKETING AND COMFORTABLE SUGGESTING NEW COURSES OF ACTION AND ALWAYS LOOKING FOR WAYS TO DO THE JOB BETTER. 

    This is an action packed role, so thinking on your feet is a must. You will be responsible for growing inbound leads generated by our marketing programs along with outbound prospecting for new strategic sales initiatives. You will proactively follow up with prospective customers who have expressed interest in an Untangle solution. Your primary responsibility is to qualify the prospect’s sales intention and timeline of buying the Untangle solution. This includes determining their project, budget, authority, need, and time frame, matching them to the proper Untangle solution.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Qualify prospects from marketing activities as sales ready or MQL leads with an eye on maintaining and exceeding QoQ lead goals 
    • Crisply articulate Untangle's business and product solution benefits
    • Identify and engage key decision makers and propose appropriate next steps and ask qualifying questions to better understand customer needs and timing
    • Drive prospect engagement through daily direct nurturing of potential leads via Conversica, Live Chat tools and direct communication. 
    • Determine sales intent resulting in highly qualified sales opportunities. 
    • Work cross-functionally as you enable and collaborate with both sales and marketing to optimize on the lead flow process and lead quality 
    • Create, pull and analyze lead reports from SFDC as well as modify existing reports 
    • Help with marketing campaigns by compiling data or prospect information on a per project basis
    • Carry a quota to add sales pipeline to increase the growth of Untangle

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum 1-3 years SDR/BDR or equivalent experience
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
    • Proficiency in Salesforce (or equivalent CRM), MS Excel, etc.
    • Proficiency in Pardot (or equivalent)
    • Prior experience with Google docs or other shared document platform

    PREFERRED SKILLS

    • Prior experience in Conversica or equivalent
    • Experience with SAAS or cyber security or networking software products
