    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    Must be at least 18 years of age by April 30th, 2022.

    12-week Summer Internship

    May 23rd – August 12th or June 20th – September 9th

    WHAT LOCATIONS TO EXPECT:

    Locations of individual opportunities are determined by the business and therefore to be interested in on our opportunities you must be open to relocation for the duration of the 12-week internship. All 2022 interns will be assigned to an office location.

    Relocation is provided to any candidate who is located more than 50 miles outside of the assigned office location.

    High School Diploma or GED

    Must be actively enrolled in University/College course credits. GAP year students are ineligible.

    External applicants eligible only. Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for UofMagenta Internships.

    T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work. The CDC defines "fully vaccinated" as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson. T-Mobile will require proof of vaccination and consider requests for exemption from this requirement during the offer phase as a reasonable accommodation for medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs where the accommodation would not cause T-Mobile undue hardship or pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others.

    • Work collaboratively with the HR Crew, and HR support teams to ensure the effective development of transparent, meaningful, and accessible leadership training, tools and resources to enable and support employee careers.
    • Participate in HR projects involving talent management, leadership development, analytics and insights, and compensation while learning and improving business processes by analyzing situations, understanding business needs to contribute with innovative solutions.
    • Analyze data, identify root causes, and recommend solutions for HR related business issues.
    • Network and learn about multiple functions within the enterprise and HR.
    • Ensure compliance of all employment/labor laws through programs, practices, policies, investigations, training, and actions. Maintain current and complete understanding of Federal and State employment laws.
    • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment and operate with a sense of urgency.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word).
    • Outstanding service orientation with a consultative lens.

    The Intern will assist the team in supporting people related initiatives which drive employee engagement. The HR Partner will be assigned projects that are designed for immediate impact to the business and provide unique preparation for future Human Resources professionals.
