    Title: Director of Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Order Management
    Location: Irvine, CA

    Our client, a rapidly growing consumer products company in the home furnishings category that is building out its eCommerce Supply Chain team in Irvine, CA, is seeking a skilled and experienced Director of Supply Chain, Purchasing and Order Management. The company is one of the largest global furniture companies selling to Amazon, Walmart, Costco, Target, Wayfair, and more with offices worldwide.

    Company Overview:

    • Consumer Product Manufacturer and Supplier of Home Furnishing Products
    • Sold through retail and retail.com partners including Costco, Walmart, Target, and most major retailers
    • Sold through Amazon and Wayfair among other Pure Play accounts
    • Privately held, $750M - $1B Revenue (estimate)
    • Irvine Facility is Growing w/ 60+ staff currently
    • Building out the eCommerce Supply Chain Team is the top priority

    Position Summary:

    • Reports to VP of Operations (eCommerce, Order Management, Inventory Demand Planning, Fulfillment)
    • This position will be supported by 2-3 positions such as inventory planner, business analyst, and data analyst
    • Collaborate on all aspects of supply chain performance with planning team, merchandising teams, data analytics team, leadership team, sales team, and division heads
    • Monitor financial metrics and fiscal controls
    • Manage and support the order management coordinator and oversee order management team
    • Propose costing and pricing for new eCommerce items
    • Collaborate with merchandising teams, operations team, and product quality team on factory quality and compliance across all SKUs
    • Manage and forecast supplier costs and identify alternate supply sources
    • Improve workflow efficiencies to enable revenue scaling
    • Collaborate with logistics team and 3PL teams on customer order processing
    • Prepare account performance reports
    • Identify and implement solutions to increase efficiency/accuracy while decreasing fees/penalties

      Skills/Requirements:

      • 5+ years experience in supply chain, purchasing, and order management
      • eCommerce experience highly preferred
      • Advanced Excel experience strongly recommended
      • Strategic planner/thinker who also excels at hands on, day-to-day tactical
      • Furniture or other consumer goods and 3PL experience a plus, but not required
