VA system entry for ideas

VA tracking, summarizing, and reporting

VA generation “brainstorming” activity

Schedule tracking for evaluations, studies, ECI’s, etc..

Field Quality Monitoring and Investigation:

Warranty analysis using internal systems

Field Issue report tracking, summarizing, and reporting

Customer feedback tracking and summary (JD Powers, Consumer Reports, etc..)

Schedule tracking for investigation, countermeasure development, and implementation

Innovation Promotion and Benchmarking:

Internet monitoring of competitor information and technology

Presentations of new technologies

Benchmarking of competitor vehicles and/or parts

Requirements:

Bachelor degree or equivalent in automotive and/or engineering related curriculum

Experience working with automotive chassis components (minimum 1 year)

Experience in automotive field (minimum 3 years)

Experience working in cost optimization (minimum 3 years)

Good oral and written communication skills

High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others

High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual or difficult

Project management experience (minimum 1 year)

Machine/equipment design with 3-D CAD systems, CATIA preferred (minimum 1 year)
