    Uplandme, Inc. was founded in 2018 by three serial entrepreneurs. The game launched into open beta in January 2020 and became the largest blockchain game just eight months later. Available for iOS, Android, and the mobile web, Upland uses blockchain technology to power “true ownership” of digital assets. 

    To expand its reach beyond blockchain aficionados and towards a mass-market audience, we are looking for a self-managing and detail-oriented Las Vegas-based part-time IT Support Technician to support to the U.S. and LATAM-based members on issues ranging from computer systems to corporate infrastructure.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance over the phone, email, or chat
    • Walk employees through the problem-solving process while remote or in person
    • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by employees
    • Resolve submitted tickets promptly and accurately
    • Monitor, investigate and resolve issues based on metrics and application performance
    • Compile information into concise reports for handoff
    • Record events and problems and their resolution in submitted tickets
    • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support
    • Conduct new hire onboarding technical setup and training
    • Maintain company-issued equipment, ensuring that all devices (i.e. laptops, monitors, etc.) are accurately tracked and kept in working order
    • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
    • Manage internal directory servers
    • Manage 3rd party service provider accounts

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Experience with corporate infrastructure, including but not limited to Active Directory, firewalls, Wifi setup, DNS, etc
    • Proven experience as an IT technician
    • Experience administering Linux, Mac and Windows-based operating systems
    • Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products
    • Solid understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
    • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
    • Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
    • Excellent communicator (written and verbal)
    • Experience in working in a distributed, international environment
    • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese a strong plus
