We would like to hire someone to manage our ongoing recruiting and staffing. We're looking for a rockstar that would start with the recruiting and onboarding function but potentially expand from there.
This person would be hiring entry level sales reps and handling the full cycle from initial resume submit to hire. The goal of hiring 4-10 people per week.
What we do:
We've developed a technology and a network of at home sales agents to sell a variety of products including insurance, solar energy, and software. Everyone in the company works from home.
What we need:
We have the luxury of recruiting from anywhere in the USA which means we have a massive talent pool to pull from. We've set up a recruiting system that currently requires about 1 hour per hire and we're attempting to streamline the process to be able to intake 500-1000 applications per week and handle them in an automated fashion.
What we currently have:
Breezy HR for applicant tracking
Email templates that trigger based on status change
An established hiring process
What we need:
We have a very efficient system but we want to improve its effectiveness in screening out candidates that are not a good cultural fit and don't have the right attitude to work from home. Improving this would require understanding our requirements and building in testing through the recruiting process to screen out candidates.
In addition, because it's an at home working position we need to build confidence from applicants in the company and position. Currently, we do not do a good job of this and it results in some involuntary churn.
We'd like to start by evaluating our job roles and our screening criteria/methods to improve the effectiveness of our hiring and rate of engagement from candidates.
This job is great for someone that has some entry level experience in recruiting/hr but can be a jack of all trades (part marketer, part project manager part coordinator)
