The New Business and Underwriting Department of Globe Life And Accident Insurance Company is seeking a New Business & Underwriting Manager to lead team members in our daily operations. The Manager will explore new avenues to reduce cost, mortality risk, and turnaround time. This person will work with all levels in the organization and should possess excellent communication skills. The Manager will conduct research and analytical studies on a variety of programs and issues. The manager will also conduct cost benefit analyses and prepare statistical reports. From that research the Manager should make recommendations and implement continual improvements for our department. This person should be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with a professional attitude under pressure. The Manager is responsible for employee engagement and introducing creative initiatives to improve/maintain employee morale.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or other related field
• Minimum of 4 years in a leadership role
• Previous life insurance underwriting experience is preferred
• Previous experience using SQL and Tableau is preferred
