Fashion Store Manager and Buyer

Uptown Cheapskate is currently searching the Lewisville market for a hard worker with extraordinary actual retail clothing experience and knowledge of clothing fashion to train as a buyer and store manager. As a manager, you will not always have the luxury of leaving on time, and you MUST have the flexibility and stamina to work extra shifts when your team members call out. But you will be paid hourly for every minute you work, including time and a half for weekly overtime (over 40 hours). (NOTE! Please do not apply if you do not live and breathe fashion, take ownership by working extra (paid) hours when necessary, and can honestly describe and demonstrate that passion!)
The successful applicant will assist with the operation of a profitable store that is focused on exceptional customer service that exceeds customer expectations. Responsible for specific duties of opening and/or closing a single store including assisting with the oversight of day to day store operations and buying of clothing and accessories from the public. This is a hands-on, lead by example position.

Adhere to company guidelines keeping COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) in balance and minimizing potential for loss
Maintain a fresh and visually enticing store that is clean and well organized at a level exceeding the competition and above customer expectations
Qualifications
Very strong demonstration of current fashion trends for core customer
Previous retail resale buying or highly mature fashion experience is a big plus.
Strong coaching, customer service and selling skills with a take-charge mentality
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and extra shifts when necessary
Strong verbal and written skills
Outwardly display a high level of energy without need for motivation
