Job Description

Urban Balance a premier counseling group practice is seeking well-trained, talented and compassionate psychotherapists to join its expanding practice. Due to high referral volume, we have expanding our Denver practice. As such, we are currently hiring for licensed psychotherapists (e.g., LPC/LCSW). (We are requiring applicants to be licensed in the state of CO)Our preferred candidate will have evening and/or weekend availability with the ability to schedule at-least 12 hours per week.

Founded in 2004, Urban Balance's mission is to provide accessible, affordable and insurance-friendly psychotherapy services to individuals, couples and families.

Responsibilities include:

· Assess clients to determine fit for outpatient treatment and establish provisional diagnosis and initial treatment plan.

· Conduct individual,group, couples and/or family therapy in accordance with state regulations and professional licensure law(s).

· If necessary, provide crisis intervention services to clients to ensure risk levels are properly managed and, when appropriate, triaged to higher level of care.

· Maintain scheduling of all active clients to ensure clinical needs are being met.

· Collect client payments based on quotes received.

· Maintain collateral contact with client's referring physician/professional, as well as any other pertinent treatment providers, to ensure optimum level of care.

· Participate in consultation or supervision in accordance with licensure law(s).

Urban Balance believes in healthy work/life balance not only for our clients, but for our staff as well. Each office has their own community of therapists for support and consultation. We have an intake department that manages all prospective client inquiries and matches them with therapists based on availability and needs. In addition, our in-house billing department will oversee your credentialing process, as well as all client benefit quotes, claims submission and any additional support needed regarding network participation. Urban Balance also offers optional ancillary benefits for eligible part time employee and affiliate level staff.
